Bored? Stuck? Do Something!

I know I’m not alone in saying that I have some days where I’m sitting at home on my couch, bored out of my mind wanting to do something else other than housework, grocery shopping or.. well, working. You’ve been there too right? Don’t lie.

Recently while putting together segment ideas for “Daytime” I stumbled across the website Zozi.com. Zozi has a unique selection of things to do in your city, and other cities across the country. For example, I booked a sunset cruise around Newport Beach, CA with two friends for my birthday which included appetizers and alcohol for $25 a ticket! On the cruise operators website the tickets retail for $50. Zozi was able to secure the deal for 50%.

Think of Zozi as Groupon® meeting getting out of your house and being active with something you enjoy.

Here’s where I think Zozi can come in handy. Now, mind you, this is just based on my experience with them, but – let’s say you book a vacation to City X and when you get there it’s storming for the duration of your trip.. and everything you had planned was outdoors. Although Zozi doesn’t exclusively have activities in doors, you can easily visit the website (which automatically detects the city you’re in based on your internet providers IP address) and find an activity in doors that you can do.

The same scenario can be said for unexpected layovers due to cancelled flights or if you’re visiting a city that you just can’t seem to find anything to do in (yes, I’ve been there!).

Anyway, check out Zozi you might just find something to do.
