I carry Starbucks coffee cards. They are appreciated when they are least expected.
These cards can be reloaded by the owners so they always have a cupa when needed & cash isn't avbl.
Most of the time F/As are not thanked.
I do remember getting gifts from PAX when I flew....guess that's why I want to give gifts.

[...] Up, Up and a Gay introduced me to a new organization, and website, the Flight Attendant Appreciation Club. What a concept! It’s always nice to be appreciated! [...]

I started bringing chocolates for the flight crew after you (or one of your blogging) colleagues mentioned how much they appreciated it. I don't want to look like I'm doing it for any perks (I'm really not), so I try to have them ready for whomever greets me as I board instead of flagging someone down at my seat.

I know how badly behaved travelers can be and how quickly they can lash out at hard-working FAs. I hope my best behavior--and my chocolates--help a little.
