About the Blog
I’ve been a flight attendant for the past five years and some of the people and things I’ve seen you wouldn’t believe. I’ve caught myself on various occasions re-telling my friends and family stories of what happens on the plane and at work only to think that they didn’t believe me.
It’s true, a lot of what I see and experience is too far fetched for some to imagine. So, in June 2009 this blog was born. Using this website as my own personal journal and forum, I’m now able to provide my readers with a glimpse into the life of a flight attendant and my personal life as I travel across the world.
Because of my blogs successes in it’s first year and public interest to learn about the job of a flight attendant, in July 2010 my first book, Planely Speaking, was published. Planely Speaking is a book based on this blog which chronicles how I began my flying career, experiences and insight from 30,000 feet and a short section on getting hired as a flight attendant.
I hope you enjoy the stories and thoughts I post here. I dedicate a lot of time to updating the blog and ensuring that the content I post here is interesting and informative yet fun and refreshing.
