Become a Tour Wrist

I’ve been on an app frenzy lately. I just got a new phone (not an iPhone though) that allows me more space to download more apps that make life easier. Some of them are so addicting you have to remind yourself to put your phone down and move on with life.

Here’s an idea though, what if you could travel the world from your phone? Or, while traveling what if you could show your friends and family at home a full view of what you’re looking and let them join the experience?

This app does just that. Tour Wrist allows you to record video in 360 degrees allowing anyone who watches the ability to experience everything your location has to offer. Honestly, it’d be perfect for hotels and cruise lines to show prospective customers exactly what to expect. Not to mention, as the every day traveler you can make videos that will capture everything you remember from your vacation even Cheap Egypt Holidays.

Here’s an example that I really liked, here’s a video of “life under the Eiffel tower”  that really makes you feel as if you’re standing under it.

The one thing I dislike about the website/app is the inability to embed and share your video from the viewing window. I’m talking very “youtube” like, once the videos over you can click “share” or “embed” and put the video on your website or facebook page, these videos don’t have that option. I’m not sure how exactly you can share them other than using the link to the website they’re uploaded on.

I know this sounds like a sponsored post, but I assure you it’s not, it’s just the newest travel app that everyone can find useful. Check out their website at www.TourWrist.com  and take the app for a spin.

    Hi Bobby,

Thank you for your coverage of the free Tour Wrist app (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) and website.

You can share a Tour Wrist 360º panoramic virtual tour image via Facebook, Twitter and email by selecting the “Share” button below the image.

We agree that it should be as easy to share embed code as it is with YouTube. Until it’s that easy, here are the instructions for using Tour Wrist embed code, if you would like to add “Life Under the Eiffel Tower” (20149) to your article:
