Such a LUSH for a Good Time

You’ve read about them before, I’ve talked about them on TV and believe it or not, no, I’m not paid to do so (but I should be). I love LUSH. Yes, there, I said. I love them. Their products are amazing and I recently found out, their employees are too.

On a recent trip to Vancouver (which was not among one of my Cheapest Holidays) Gailen David and I were lucky enough to be given a tour of the LUSH factory by an amazing woman, Jill. Jill was quite the tour guide. She knew every minor detail about the company and was a wealth of information about the industry, making the tour that much more fun and interesting.

She took us through the different kitchens and rooms in which the products are made, introduced us to a few master compounders, and throughout the process was like a kid in a candy store overjoyed to be able to share her experiences in the factory and at the company with us. It truly made Gailen and myself feel more at home and really reinforced our love for the brand because not only do they make amazing products to travel with (or use at home) but their employees love the company and love what they do, that makes myself proud for standing behind them and saying what we do to viewers on various talk shows about their products.
