…I’m Back!
I wanted to write a quick post thanking you for your patience. I apologize that I haven’t been able to update my blog in recent weeks and I wanted to take a moment and explain why.
If you follow me on Twitter, you already know that I moved from Phoenix to Los Angeles right after the first of the year. The move went through quite smoothly with one exception. My internet.
My internet issue has been an on going issue since I moved. First, I tried to become a customer of AT&T U-Verse, and that failed miserably. Fourteen days after my initial order I was still without working internet service and had roughly 7 technicians pass through my apartment trying to get it to work. Finally, on the night of day 13 I gave up, cancelled my order and placed an order with Time Warner Cable.
Now, another issue. After a scheduling snafu with my installation date, when a technician did show up they found that my cable line has been cut and they need to replace it, and that’s taking place on Tuesday when I get home from work.
So, now, I sit on a 24 hour layover in San Francisco trying to catch up because I have a steady and working internet connection.
Hopefully, by the end of the day on Tuesday, I’ll be back up and running normally. I just wanted to thank you for your patience, emails and concern, and I promise to return to updating regularly starting tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow, you can look forward to a recap of a recent flight where a passenger asked me to do something for him that I’ve never been asked in my past 5 years of flying. You won’t want to miss it!
