Training, Kool-Aid & Updates

I’m sorry for the lack of updates in the last 4 days. I’ve been in San Francisco at a training event similar to recurrent but its more focuced on communication and customer service. They put me in a nice hotel but didn’t give me internet access and it was $13 a day. I don’t make enough money to spend $26 for 2 days of internet access!

Anyway, the event was good — and I truly did drink a little of the kool-aid (this year it was lemon and lime water haha!) and believe that this company and fix its downfalls. I’d be lieing if I said that I hadn’t reached a point a few months ago where I thought my airline was going so far down the wrong track that I sent my resume out to other employers. However, I had a nice long talk with both our Manager of InFlight Training and our Senior Vice President of InFlight seperatly and both reached out to me for information on how we can improve and I TRUELY believe they want to. I have a temporary re-defined spirit and trust in my company. That trust and spirit can only be extended if they do in fact fix the issues at hand.

Prior to training I was on a 4 day, the very one that I filmed my commute for UPtv, and now I’m finally on 2 days off. I work another 4 starting Friday. After that, I’m off until the end of the month and have a great schedule for October! 88:30 hours, 3 trips and recurrent! I’m looking forward to my time off after this upcoming trip. It’ll give me some to catch up with things on here and get back to writing in general.

Right now though, I’m enjoying sitting on my couch and not moving!
