I just had 5 days off, its so hard to go back to work. I would much rather stay home.
It’s funny, when I’m home I love being home and dread going back to the skies, but once I get work I love it. Of course that all changes once I encounter a rude passenger, usually found on JFK-LAX. I don’t know what it is about people lately. They expect the word for their $150 each way ticket. When you’re paying $150 to fly across the country what really are you expecting?
Luckily on this next trip I don’t work JFK-LAX once, but I do work LAX-JFK, which is quicker. Its like ripping off a bandaid.
I’m excited though I’m flying with the same crew I flew my last 4 day with, its strange how the stars aligned to bring us all together again especially since none of us are on reserve and all pretty senior. It should be fun, we have a longer layover on this trip too, which I always love. I can relax, sleep, eat all in one layover.
Anyway, back to laundry.. I’ve got to commute up to base SO early in the morning so I have to get this stuff now so I can get to bed at a decent hour.
